Kroenert Laminators and coaters
Laminating is invented to strengthen fragile paper. Nowadays laminating is used on a wide variety of products, from glass to film. Laminating is a technique where a meterial is produced in multiple layers. The goal is to achieve more strength and stability or to protect the product. Lamination is permanent. Lamination in the flexible packaging industry is assembled by adhesives.
The first lamination machines for the flexible industry were invented in the 1970’s.
Coating is the proces of applying a covering on the surface of an object, like a film or paper.
