DESCRIPTION

The W&H Varex is a blown film extrusion line manufactured by Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H), a leading international manufacturer of machinery for the flexible packaging industry. W&H is well known for its technology in film extrusion, printing and converting, with equipment used by packaging producers worldwide.

This W&H Varex, manufactured in 2015, is a 3-layer blown film extrusion line for the production of multilayer plastic films. The line is equipped with three extruders with 70 – 90 – 70 mm screws and a 500 mm die diameter. It has a maximum web width of 2200 mm and is specified for film thicknesses from 20 to 250 µm.

The extrusion line has a maximum output of 600 kg/hour, offering substantial production capacity for industrial film applications. The winding section is configured for double winding of flat film, with a maximum rewind reel diameter of 1200 mm. A corona treater is also included for surface treatment of the film.

With its 3-layer configuration, wide 2200 mm web width and maximum output of 600 kg/hour, this W&H Varex provides an opportunity for flexible packaging producers looking for proven blown film extrusion technology. The combination of W&H manufacturing technology and the relatively recent 2015 production year makes this line an interesting option for companies seeking additional or replacement production capacity.
