The F&K 26S is a high-performance CI (Central Impression) flexographic printer designed for the production of high-quality flexible packaging materials. Maschinenfabrik Fischer & Krecke (F&K), now part of the Bobst Group, has built a strong international reputation for manufacturing reliable and innovative flexographic presses that combine excellent print quality with high productivity. F&K presses are widely used for printing on a broad range of substrates, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), laminates, paper and other flexible packaging materials.
This 8-colour gearless F&K 26S, built in 2004, is equipped with a maximum web width of 1,100 mm and a maximum printing width of 1,050 mm. One of the key features of this machine is its exceptionally long printing repeat range of 400 to 1,350 mm, making it particularly suitable for customers producing large-format packaging, industrial sacks, heavy-duty bags and other applications requiring oversized print repeats. This extended repeat capability offers greater flexibility and allows converters to cover a wider variety of packaging formats with a single press.
The machine is fitted with automatic turret unwind and rewind units for efficient reel changes and continuous production. It also features electric drying, a FIFE web guiding system, a BST Genius video inspection camera, an Ahlbrandt corona treater, automatic wash-up, and viscosity control to support consistent print quality and efficient operation. Furthermore, the press is supplied with 12 anilox rollers and approximately 220 sleeves, providing excellent flexibility for a wide range of printing jobs and helping to reduce changeover times. The F&K 26S remains a highly regarded choice for flexible packaging converters looking for productivity, reliability and outstanding print performance.
