Comexi machines are produced by the Comexi Group. It's a family-run company founded in Spain in 1954 producing machinery for the flexible packaging industry. During the past decades, Comexi expanded into a worldwide leader in manufacturing flexo printing presses with a central drum for short, medium, and long run-up and printing possibilities up to 10 colors. Comexi has three factories, in Barcelona (Spain), Rio Grande do Sol (Brazil), and Piacenza (Italy), with over 35.000 m2 of production capacity. As well as a components warehouse in the USA and a sales network in over 100 countries worldwide.
The Comexi Group is offering five production lines, each focusing on a different conversion process: flexographic printing, offset printing, gravure printing, and laminating and slitting. Those product lines are all implemented with the newest developments in innovation, technology, and sustainability to assure an efficient production process and deliver a high-quality flexible packaging product.
Besides supplying machinery and components for their customers in the flexible packaging field, in 2013, they also established Comexi Ctec, providing technical and innovative knowledge to their customers, and consultancy and training services.
