The MOM DD is the industry-wide standard in mounting machines for mounting flexographic printing plates onto sleeves with manual positioning of printing plates. The MOM DD is the predecessor of the MOM DD+ and a cost efficient alternative to the MOM DD+ Pro series up to 1100mm printing width. The system is based on two co-ordinates (register-marks) that have been applied on the printing plate perpendicular to the print direction. The MOM DD has automatic moving cameras and rotation of the sleeve. AV Flexologic has developed new Windows based mounting software which is very intuitive. Entering job information is all done in one screen. Barcode scanners, connections with ERP systems, etc is all possible upon request. The MOM is equipped with a computer that controls all the motorized variables that are necessary for positioning the flexo plates in the exact positions.
