Schiavi was founded in 1927 in Italy with plants in Piacenza and Modena. It is well known as a manufacturer and supplier of central impression flexo printing machines and stack machines, rotogravure presses, laminators and coaters, and slitters. Schiavi offers a wide range of flexographic presses such as Schiavi Sirio, Schiavi Aries, Schiavi Righel, Schiavi Alpha, Schiavi Sigma, Schiavi EF 4020, Schiavi EF4040, available as 8 colors (Sirio and Aries also as 6 col). 10 colors flexo presses are Schiavi EF5030 and EF5040. As well as multi-purpose and solventless laminators. Since 2006 it has been part of the machine manufacturer Bobst and was called Bobst Italia Spa. The flexographic printing machinery of Bobst Italy serves several end-use sectors such as juices and drinks, fresh food, toys and games, healthcare, and household and laundry.
